I'm a Rockstar, Leave Me Alone

from Spacing Out... by ABEL marton nagy's COSMOS BAND

/

about

It meant to be the 1st track on the album we wrote with my friend Attila Czuth. The whole thing was written in 2016 in a dorm-room.

lyrics

[verse 1]
An edgy thoughtless jab at reason
And no I’ won’t say why
l’ll just let you see
A never-ending string of seasons
Color coded fake high
Fluid matter crystallized

[bridge 1]
A sheltered life, so innocent
He tried to lie ’bout his descent
He gathered fools who stand in line
Sing the tune of empty whine

[chorus 1]
I would rather die every day of the week
Than sit there and just listen to their worthless critique
I don’t need society to throw me a bone
I’m a fucking rockstar so just leave me a alone

[verse 2]
There is a word we call it treason
And you don’t realize
His walk became a crawl
The shampoo industry is teasing
No tears in baby’s eyes
What a murky thought

[bridge 2]
A Shattered lie, a dissonance
Suit and tie lost resonance
A seamless proof observing eyes
Don’t wanna look behind the guise

[chorus 2]
I would rather die every day of the week
Than sit there and just listen to their worthless critique
I don’t need society to throw me a bone
I’m a fucking rockstar so just leave me a alone

[verse 3]
A pretty tongue got tired of pleasing
Gag-reflex on trial
Turned off by the sight
Then the fat man started squeezing
His sweaty hands are vile
Pressed against the wall

[bridge 3]
A shattered life lost innocence
Cast aside in a sense
He gathered fools who stand in lines
Sing the tune of simpler times

[chorus 3]
I would rather die every day of the week
Than sit there and just listen to their worthless critique
I don’t need society to throw me a bone
I’m a fucking rockstar so just leave me a alone

[chorus 4]
I would rather die every day of the week
Than sit there and just listen to their worthless critique
I don’t need society to throw me a bone
I’m a fucking rockstar so just leave me a alone

[chorus 5]
I would rather die every day of the week
Than sit there and just listen to their worthless critique
I don’t need society to throw me a bone
I’m a fucking rockstar so just leave me a alone
